When traveling to Egypt, one of the first stops on most people’s itineraries is The Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The museum houses an incredible display depicting ancient Egypt’s glorious reign with over 120,000 artifacts. You can enjoy sarcophagi, jewellery, mummies, pottery and King Tutankhamen’s treasures off course. The goodies of King Tut’s include his underwear, socks and the solid gold of boy-king’s death-mask, which described as the most beautiful object ever made. All the displays have a little haphazard that are not labelled very well, but you’ll enjoy it nevertheless.

The museum is open daily from 9am – 5pm.
