6. Ride a Steam Train

In South Africa there are several excellent steam train rides you can take. On the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe, there’s a very fun 3 hour trip which takes you through the gorgeous scenery of the Garden Route, from George to Knysna.
Rovos Rail offers trips within South Africa as well as up to the Victoria Falls by operates a very luxurious railway line.
