Biban El Moluk, or The Valley of the Kings situated on the ancient site of Thebes. It is a place where the pharaoh’s were hoped and buried in the afterlife to meet their Gods. Here, you will find Tutankhamun’s tomb which in the 1920′s was discovered almost intact. You can go inside the tomb, but to see the treasures he was buried with, you’ll have to visit the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. In the scheme of things, actually Tutankhamun was quite a minor king and there are more impressive and many larger tombs to discover in the Valley of the Kings.

For visiting the tombs there are few tips:

- Better if explore the tombs in the winter months, about November-March
- You can get into 3 tombs with A ticket, which is probably enough for a day
- Just make sure you are wear good walking shoes and fit.
